Job summary

Jamie Tharpe Trucking Inc. is seeking CDL-A drivers for OTR runs based out of Milwaukee, WI. This position features 2,500–3,000 miles weekly on 100% no-touch dry van freight with 90% drop and hook, mostly east of I-35.

You’ll benefit from pay of $1,400–$1,500 per week, layover and detention pay, onboarding pay, and a 24/7 operations team, plus modern tractors with inverters and refrigerators.

Qualifications

• CDL-A license with current medical card and Clean Clearinghouse.
• 3 to 6 months OTR experience or 1 year in last 3 years.
• Must maintain a safe, compliant driving record.

Responsibilities

• Operate 2,500–3,000 miles weekly on no-touch dry van freight.
• Follow dispatch instructions and coordinate with the 24/7 operations team.
• Occasionally route beyond East of I-35 as needed by customers.

Pay: $1,400 to $1,500 per week

Drivers average 2,500 to 3,000 miles weekly while hauling 100% no-touch dry van freight with 90% drop and hook loads. Most routes run East of I-35, although drivers may occasionally operate outside that area based on customer needs.

Qualifications:

3 to 6 months of tractor trailer experience in the last year or 1 year of tractor trailer experience within the last 3 years is required. Drivers must possess a valid CDL-A license, current medical card, and maintain a Clearinghouse record free of violations. Applicants must also have 12 months of safe driving following a safety termination.

Onboarding Process:

Remote orientation is provided before drivers are routed to the nearest terminal for truck assignment. Hotel accommodations are provided before pickup, lunch is included before dispatch, and drivers receive $200 onboarding pay.
