Make Gains:

Earn $68,000 - $85,000 per year

Driver Pay Rates:

• Start at $0.60 per mile as a trainee
• Experienced drivers earn $0.64 - $0.69 per mile, depending on experience
• Top drivers earn $95,000+
• All miles paid loaded or empty unless going home
• Extra Stop/Pickup pay
• Orientation and training pay: $14/hour or up to $196 daily
• Lumper pay: $2.50 per thousand pounds, paid by JBS (drivers unload only if they choose)
• Breakdown pay: $15.50/hour (max 10 hours)
• Layover pay: $140 after 24 hours of idle time, with the driver available for work
• In Transit Layover Pay: $140 for loads with multiple drops

Work and Route:

• Average weekly miles: 2,000+
• Main driving region: multi-state
• Truck assignments may vary at any JBS terminal; no guarantee of being at your home terminal
• 75% drop/hook shipments
• 80% live unload

CDL-A Regional Truck Driver Requirements:

• At least 21 years old
• CDL-A with 1 year tractor-trailer experience
• Experience with 48’-53' trailers
• Mentor and training programs available for drivers with less than 1 year of experience
