Job summary

C3 Trucking is seeking a regional dedicated account driver to deliver fresh and frozen foods in reefer trailers from Ogden, UT to grocery distributors nationwide. Start times range 4am-9am; drivers average 11–13 hour days with ~5 layovers per week. You will be responsible for backhauls and occasional over‑the‑road resets as dictated by routes.

Expect to live unload at receivers with an average of 3 hours per stop. Must have 3 months Class A driving experience, clean MVR and background.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL.
• Commercial driving experience with clean MVR and background.
• Ability to handle hazardous weather conditions and mountain passes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fresh and frozen foods in reefer trailers from Ogden, UT to grocery distributors nationwide.
• Load and unload responsibilities are performed by receiver; anticipate average unload times.
• Perform backhauls and assist other accounts as needed.
• Be prepared for 34-hour resets weekly; route may require over-the-road resets.
• Chain loads as weather dictates and manage drives across mountain passes.

Sunday-Friday
- Account will do their best to get the driver home for a 34 hour reset weekly, but driver will be required to occasionally reset over the road
- Start times: 4am-9am
- Driver will average a 11-13 hour day
- Driver will average 5 layovers per week

• Driver will make deliveries of fresh and frozen foods in reefer trailers from the DC in Ogden, UT to grocery distributors throughout the country

  • States delivered to include: WA, OR, CA, AZ, NM, CO, KS, TX, MN, NE WI, IA, IL, IN, TN, MO, OH, MI, KY, PA, NC, SC, VA, GA, FL, NY, NJ, and MA.
  • Loads will be a mixture of single and multi stop deliveries
  • Trailers are preloaded with the exception of backhauls

• At the receiver, freight will be live unloaded by the customer

  • Average unload time is 3 hours

• Driver is required to pick up backhauls

• Driver must be willing and able to chain as weather dictates

• Driver must be comfortable driving mountain passes

• Driver is required to occasionally reset over the road based on their route

• Driver is required to assist other DCS/JBI accounts as needed

$1700 average weekly
