Job summary

C3 Trucking is seeking drivers for a regional dedicated account. Start times range from 4am to 9am with 11- to 13-hour days and about 5 layovers weekly, delivering fresh and frozen foods in reefer trailers from the Ogden, UT DC to grocery distributors across the country.

Loads span many states; live unloads at receivers with about a 3-hour unload time. Backhauls are expected; drivers must chain as weather dictates and be willing to drive mountain passes.

Qualifications

• 3 months Class A driving experience required.
• Clean MVR and clean background required.
• No SAP involved in the role.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fresh and frozen foods in reefer trailers from the Ogden, UT DC to grocery distributors nationwide.
• Loads include single and multi-stop deliveries to many states.
• At receiver, freight will be live unloaded; average unload time about 3 hours.
• Driver will pick up backhauls and chain as weather dictates.
• Occasional over-the-road resets may be required based on route.

Sunday-Friday
- Account will do their best to get the driver home for a 34 hour reset weekly, but driver will be required to occasionally reset over the road
- Start times: 4am-9am
- Driver will average a 11-13 hour day
- Driver will average 5 layovers per week

• Driver will make deliveries of fresh and frozen foods in reefer trailers from the DC in Ogden, UT to grocery distributors throughout the country

  • States delivered to include: WA, OR, CA, AZ, NM, CO, KS, TX, MN, NE WI, IA, IL, IN, TN, MO, OH, MI, KY, PA, NC, SC, VA, GA, FL, NY, NJ, and MA.
  • Loads will be a mixture of single and multi stop deliveries
  • Trailers are preloaded with the exception of backhauls

• At the receiver, freight will be live unloaded by the customer

  • Average unload time is 3 hours

• Driver is required to pick up backhauls

• Driver must be willing and able to chain as weather dictates

• Driver must be comfortable driving mountain passes

• Driver is required to occasionally reset over the road based on their route

• Driver is required to assist other DCS/JBI accounts as needed

$1700 average weekly
