Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is hiring a CDL A Truck Driver to transport and deliver windows and doors to dealers, DCs and job sites. This full-time daytime role includes regional travel and potential Saturdays based on needs.

The position requires safe driving, customer service and compliance with Federal, State and local regulations, along with the ability to load/unload cargo and operate scanning tools. Training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Maintain an acceptable accident and moving violation MVR.
• 2 years commercial truck driving experience (equivalent Military DD214 acceptable).
• Ability to read, write and perform simple mathematical calculations.
• Ability to follow instructions via on-board computer system, phone and e-mail.
• Working knowledge of Zebra phones and Flex iPod or equivalent scanning is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to work independently.
• Willingness to travel as required.

Responsibilities

• Safely load/unload products at customer locations.
• Perform lifting and handling of windows and doors of varying weights.
• Safely drive to destinations following Federal regulations.
• Use on-board systems and tools for route and logs; adapt to traffic and weather.
• Maintain driver logs, ELD, fuel purchases, mileage and regulatory records.
• Follow company policies and comply with safety regulations.
