Job summary

American Driver LLC is hiring Class A drivers for a Midwest regional fleet along Michigan's lakeshore. Loads stay within 400 miles of home with weekly earnings around $1,000–$1,300 and a $1,000 weekly minimum for the first 3 months solo. Training for new CDL holders includes a mentor, paying $900 weekly.

Experienced drivers with 6 months of OTR can go solo after orientation, with paid orientation and a standard benefits package after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Must have Class A CDL from your state of residence, 21 or older.
• Completed CDL-A training at a truck driving school (minimum 120 hours), or 6 months of OTR experience in the last 12 months.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
• No DUI/DWI in the last 10 years.
• DOT physical, hair and urine drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Operate dry van freight within a 400-mile radius of home in Midwest regional lanes (MI, OH, IN, KY, IL).
• Drop and hook, preloads, live loads and unloads with day and night dispatch; weekends/holidays as needed.
• Your truck is assigned to you (automatic or 10-speed), typically 1.5 years old.
• New CDL holders train with a mentor; experienced drivers may go solo after orientation.
