American Driver LLC is hiring Class A drivers for a Quad Cities central US regional fleet. You choose how often you come home, with most loads within a day of home. Drive dry van freight across the Midwest, about 1,700 to 2,400 miles weekly, earning $1,100 to $1,700.

Training pays $685 a week for new CDL holders; after orientation, drivers go solo. Weekly pay is issued by direct deposit, with a $1,000 weekly minimum for the first 3 months solo.

Qualifications

• Class A CDL from your state of residence, 21 or older.
• CDL-A training at a truck driving school (min 120 hours), or 6 months of OTR experience in the last 12 months.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
• No DUI/DWI in the last 10 years.
• DOT physical, hair and urine drug screen.

We are hiring Class A drivers in the Quad Cities for a central US regional fleet that lets you choose how often you come home. Most loads keep you within a day of the house. You run dry van freight across the Midwest, about 1,700 to 2,400 miles a week, and average $1,100 to $1,700. Your first 3 months solo carry a $1,000 weekly minimum. New CDL holders train with a mentor and earn $685 a week. Drivers with 6 months or more of recent experience go solo after orientation.

You choose your schedule

• Home every weekend. Run the week, reset at home.
• Stay out longer. More miles, bigger checks, home when you decide.
• A set shift. Some drivers run Sunday to Thursday or Tuesday to Saturday.

Tell your driver leader what works for your family. Weekend work is voluntary.

Where you run

The central US: west to Kansas, east into Pennsylvania, north to Minnesota, and now and then as far south as Georgia. Drop and hook, preloads, live loads and live unloads. Day and night dispatch. Winter driving comes with the territory.

Pay

• $0.56 to $0.65 per mile based on verifiable experience
• 1,700 to 2,400 miles a week
• About $1,100 to $1,700 a week
• $1,000 weekly minimum for your first 3 months solo
• $15 for each stop except the first and last
• $75 plus mileage on loads under 100 miles
• Monthly performance bonus
• $685 a week during training
• Paid weekly by direct deposit

Getting started

A recruiter calls and reviews your license and record. Orientation takes two days at most, with your hotel covered and your bus ticket paid back, and pays $300 once you are hired. New drivers train 3 to 5 weeks with a mentor, about 200 to 250 hours, at $685 a week. With 6 months of OTR experience in the last 12 months, you skip training and go solo in your own assigned truck. Down the road, you can become a mentor yourself.
