Job summary

American Driver is hiring for a regional route across the Southeast and Midwest. You’ll be a customer-facing driver representing the company at every stop with 11-state coverage and a strong support team behind you.

You’ll start by riding with a current driver for a week after orientation, paid at $150/day, with a team available 24/7. Expect 1,200–1,500 miles weekly, home weekly for a 34-hour reset.

Qualifications

• 21+, valid Class A CDL, minimum 3 months verifiable experience.
• No more than 1 preventable accident in the last 2 years, none major in the last 5.
• Max 2 moving violations in the last 2 years.
• No DUI/DWI in the past 5 years (10 if held a CDL at the time).
• Pass DOT physical and drug screen, no positive or refused tests in the past 10 years.
• SAP drivers not eligible.

What You’ll Earn:

• $1,900 to $2,270+ average weekly gross, $88K to $98K+ annually
• $0.81 to $0.84 CPM based on verified experience
• $335 per full trailer unload, $25 per stop, $50 backhaul pay
• All-in $1.35 CPM including accessorial and stop pay
• $2,500 sign-on bonus

On the Road:

• 100% touch freight, live unloads at FD stores with rollers
• 3 loads a week, 3 to 7 stops per load
• 1,200 to 1,500 miles weekly
• Internationals, Freightliners, and Kenworths
• Early morning starts, deliveries throughout the day
• Home weekly for your 34‑hour reset
