Salt City Trucking in Johnstown, NY is recruiting a CDL-A regional driver for dedicated, no-touch freight across the Northeast. Expect about $1,500 per week and roughly 2,000 miles weekly, with home-time options tied to distance from Johnstown.

You will work day or night shifts with 5- or 6-day weeks. Training includes on-road mentoring and live-unload freight; some trips may be drop-and-hook across NY, MA, CT, VT, NJ, MD, OH and PA. Buffalo/Boston-area residents are not accepted.

Formación

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months verifiable Class A CDL experience
• Comfortable with regional multi-state driving

Pay Details

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,500
• Mileage pay
• Stop pay:
  • $10 for the first stop
  • $15 for each additional stop
• $15 flat-rate pay for applicable trips of 50 miles or less
• Approximately 2,000 miles per week
• No bonus offered

Shift Details

• Day and night shifts available

  • Within 200 miles: Weekly home time with a 34-hour reset; truck may be taken home
  • 200-500 miles: Approximately 5 weeks out followed by 3 days at home with the truck
• For the next 15 hires, a 6-day workweek is required
• Training requires time on the road with a mentor; nightly home time is not available during training
