Job summary

HWY Express is seeking a full-time CDL-A truck driver based in Jacksonville, FL. The role focuses on no-touch general commodity freight with steady weekly miles and home time every other weekend.

Familiar regional lanes and a Southeast freight network support consistent driving schedules. Equipment is 2021 or newer Freightliner or Kenworth, with most freight east of I-35 and occasional trips across all 48 states.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license.
• At least 3 months of driving experience within the last 36 months.
• Regional or local tractor-trailer experience qualifies.

Responsibilities

• Drive regional or local tractor-trailer routes in the Southeast network.
• Operate no-touch general commodity freight with reliable weekly miles.
• Adhere to routes east of I-35, avoid NYC, and support occasional longer trips to all 48 states.

Equipment You'll Operate

• Equipment designed for over-the-road comfort and reliability
• Late-model equipment for regional freight and occasional longer trips

Life on the Road

• Most freight runs east of I-35
• No NYC routes
• Occasional freight to all 48 states

• $1,550 to $1,750 per week
• 48-hour reset every other weekend
