Qualifications

• 6 months of tractor-trailer experience in the last 12 months.
• No speeding 15 MPH or over in the last year.
• DUI must be at least 3 years old.
• Clearinghouse registration required for compliance review.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Valid Class A CDL License.

Responsibilities

• Operate regional freight with 2,500–3,000 miles per week.
• Maintain safe driving record and comply with regulations.
• Coordinate with customers for pickup/delivery when needed.

Position: CDL-A Truck Driver – Regional Freight

Jamie Tharpe Trucking offers consistent freight, steady scheduling, and weekly home time for CDL-A truck drivers. This position includes a 34-hour reset one week and a 48-hour reset the next week, allowing drivers regular time at home. All home time is taken at the driver’s home base.
