Job summary

NIS EXPRESS in Colorado is hiring for dedicated regional driving on a long-haul reefer lane. Expect about 2,600–2,800 miles weekly with an average gross of $1,600 and per-mile pay based on experience.

The route includes headhauls Sioux Falls to Salt Lake City and back with flexible home time. New CDL holders receive paid training with weekly training pay, and benefits include medical/dental/vision after 30 days, a 401(k) with company match, and PTO that grows with tenure.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL.
• New CDL holders: 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school.
• Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in last 12 months or 12+ months in last 5 years.
• Must pass drug testing and have verifiable work history.

Responsibilities

• Operate a dedicated reefer lane, mostly point A to point B and back.
• Maintain safety and compliance on long-haul routes.
• Adhere to miles and pay structures; manage weekly miles.

Job description

Pay

• $1,600 average weekly gross
• $0.51 to $0.62 per mile based on experience
• 2,600 to 2,800 miles a week
• $25 stop pay

The Lane

• Sioux Falls to Salt Lake City headhaul, backhauls into SD, IA, MN, NE
• Long length of haul, mostly preloaded
• Flexible home time
• Winter driving on I-80

New CDL Holders

• Paid training with an experienced driver
• Weekly training pay

Requirements

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid Class A CDL
• New CDL holders: 120+ hours from an accredited CDL school
• Experienced drivers: 6 months OTR in the last 12 months, or 12+ months in the past 5 years
• Valid license in your current state of residence and verifiable work history for the past 3 years
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years, no major preventable accidents in the last 5 years, no DUI/DWI in the past 5 to 10 years
• Must pass hair and urine drug testing
