Job summary

Small Potato Trucking in Troutdale, OR is seeking a CDL-A semi-local driver for a Tuesday–Saturday schedule. Start times between 4:00 AM and 6:00 AM, with about 1,700 miles per week and 12-hour days on most trips.

You will handle preloaded refrigerated trailers with 2–4 stops per load, unload with a pallet jack or liftgate, and support other local accounts as needed. The role offers a $5,000 sign-on bonus and stable grocery freight accounts.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• Able to unload freight using an electric pallet jack and/or liftgate.
• Must be willing and able to chain when weather requires.
• Comfortable driving in winter weather and snow.
• Able to assist other local accounts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Deliveries to stores and warehouses throughout Oregon and Northern California.
• Preloaded refrigerated trailers with approximately 2–4 stops per load.
• Unload using electric pallet jack and/or liftgate.
• Dedicated grocery freight account.
• Start location: Troutdale, OR.
• Assigned automatic sleeper trucks.
• Trucks must remain at the account during time off.
• May assist other local accounts 1–3 times per week; outsourced work paid at a daily rate.

• Average Annual Pay: $95,000
• Average Weekly Pay: Approximately $1,850
• Mileage Pay: $0.48–$0.58 CPM
• Yearly CPM Increases: $0.01 until reaching the maximum rate of $0.58 CPM
• Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
• Approximately 1,700 miles per week
