Job summary

Staffmark is hiring a CDL A Port Driver in Paramount, CA. The role offers a pay rate of $32.00–$33.00 per hour (straight time). Schedule is Monday–Friday with start times between 4 PM and 5 PM.

The driver will perform local port/harbor duties, transporting containers to LA and Long Beach terminals while upholding safety and timelines.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL-A license and DOT Medical Card required.
• Hazmat endorsement is a plus.
• Two years CDL experience driving in/out of LA/LB ports preferred.
• TWIC card required or in process; FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and MVR clear.

Job Duties

Driving Requirements

• Valid CDL-A license
• DOT Medical Card
• Hazmat endorsement a plus
• Valid TWIC card
• FMCSA Clearinghouse registered and clear MVR
• 2 years CDL experience (within the past 3 years) driving work in and out of ports of LA and Long Beach
• No more than 3 moving violations/at-fault accidents (within the past 3 years)
• No DUI, reckless driving, or serious violations (within the past 5 years)

What You Will Do

As a CDL A Port Driver you will safely operate vehicles to transport goods, materials, or equipment while following established routes, schedules, and safety regulations. You will perform vehicle inspections, maintain required documentation, communicate with dispatch or customers as needed, and help ensure deliveries are completed safely, accurately, and on time while maintaining a professional appearance and commitment to customer service.
