Job summary

Hight Electric, based in Long Beach, CA, is hiring a CDL Class A Port Drayage Driver for the night shift to transport containers to and from the Ports and support customers, terminals, and dispatch.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, a TWIC card, and a minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience. Hazmat and tanker endorsements are preferred. A $1,500 sign-on bonus is offered after 3 months of employment.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL required.
• Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience.
• TWIC card required.
• Hazmat and/or tanker endorsements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company trucks and transport containers to and from the Ports.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Follow DOT regulations and safety procedures.
• Maintain electronic logs and required documentation.
• Deliver on schedule and communicate with dispatch.
