Job summary

Service Transport Company, a Trimac family company, hires drivers for chemical transportation across North America. Route patterns include dedicated lanes with pre-loaded trailers and 2,000–2,500 miles weekly. The role requires a tanker and hazmat endorsement and a valid Class A CDL.

Employees receive weekly pay, fuel surcharge coverage, and accessorial pay. This position is based in Axis, AL, with 48-state destinations and home-time every 1–3 days.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL with tanker and hazmat endorsements.
• 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience.
• TWIC card or eligible to obtain post-hire.
• 2015 or newer model tractor.
• Able to pass Trimac safety assessment.

Responsibilities

• Haul chemicals such as Sulfuric Acid and Hydrosulfide.
• Dedicated and out-and-back lanes available across 48 states.
• Pre-loaded trailers; 2,000–2,500 miles per week.
• Adhere to safety policies and company procedures.

Pay Details

• $4,500-$5,500 weekly (gross)
• Paid at 68% of line haul
• 100% Fuel Surcharge

Schedule

• Drivers are out 7-14 days
• 1-3 days home-time

Qualifications

• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License
• 1-year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
• Tanker & Hazmat endorsements required
• 6 months tanker experience preferred
• Pass Trimac safety assessment
• 2015 or newer tractor
• Pump and Compressor Required (availability to obtain)
• TWIC Card required (must be eligible to obtain, and may be acquired after hire)

Past 7 years without:

• Driving violation involving the consumption of illegal or intoxicating substances
• A preventable rollover or fatality crash

Past 3 years without:

• License suspensions involving drug and/or alcohol, or a record that would indicate a disregard for public safety
• A major preventable accident
• Two or more moving convictions
