OUR CDL A OWNER-OPERATOR CAR HAULERS EARN UP TO $300,000 PER YEAR – HOME WEEKLY

Overview

Proficient Auto Transport is seeking reliable and experienced Owner-Operators to join our team. As an independent Owner-Operator, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting finished vehicles to dealer locations in a regional delivery model. This position requires excellent driving skills and the ability to safely operate your tractor/trailer as well as various types of vehicles, including pickups, vans, sedans, and SUVs in the loading and unloading process.

What We Offer

• Potential earnings of $200,000 - $300,000 Per Year
• 80+% of Total Revenue for contracted deliveries
• Work hours dictated by contractor availability and Hours of Service
• Vehicle deliveries occur during dealer business hours

Owner Operator Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial transporter to deliver finished vehicles to dealers
• Load and unload new vehicles (drive on/off)
• Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving
• Plan routes and ensure timely delivery of goods
• Inspect vehicles for damage/blemishes, document and report any deficiencies
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery times utilizing the required TMS system
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries
• Adhere to customer policies and procedures regarding delivery operations
• Conduct pre-inspection of all vehicles in load, photo capture required of all vehicles
• Inspect and maintain operating equipment to meet DOT, contractual, and customer requirements
• Provide high levels of customer service and care
• Meet minimum insurance coverage requirements
• Meet and maintain minimum commercial vehicle standards

Job Requirements

How Do You Qualify For This Position? Here is What We Need From You:

• 2+ Years CDL A Truck Driving Experience
• Valid Class A CDL & Clean Driving Record
• Must provide late model 8 or 9-car tractor/trailer that meets company age/condition standards
• Proven experience as a professional driver with verifiable auto-haul transport experience. Must have at least one year of auto-haul experience.
• Excellent time management skills & ability to work independently
• Adherence to safety protocols – strong attention to detail
• Successfully complete all onboarding & orientation requirements
• Wage range: $200,000 - $300,000 per year
• General benefits: 1099 position - no benefits available
