Job summary

Universal Logistics is seeking a dedicated Owner Operator driver to join our team in supporting our company's mission to provide exceptional logistics services.

We offer local and regional opportunities, weekly settlements, and consistent freight with no forced dispatch. Plate and insurance programs are available to support our drivers. Additionally, U-SAV program, roadservice, on-site parking, and company-owned chassis enhance driver convenience and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A is required.
• Current DOT Medical Card is required.
• Good Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
• Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections.
• 6 months of tractor-trailer experience.
• Must be 21 years or older.
• HAZMAT & Tanker endorsements preferred.
• TWIC card required for port work where applicable.
• 2005 or newer truck.
• Criminal background check required.

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
• 6 months of recent tractor-trailer experience
• At least 21 years old
• Current DOT Medical
• Good Motor Vehicle Record
• Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections
• HAZMAT & Tanker Endorsed Contractors preferred*
• Drivers will need obtain a TWIC card with ability to handle own port work when needed*
• 2005 or newer truck*
• Criminal background check*
