Job summary

A regional beverage company is looking for a motivated CDL A holder in Nampa, Idaho. You will safely drive a tractor trailer, manage deliveries, and complete inspections. Ideal candidates have over-the-road experience and a CDL. The role offers competitive wages, full benefits within 90 days, and guaranteed Saturdays off.

Qualifications

• 1 year of over-the-road commercial driving experience preferred.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
• Completion of CDL Training: 150 classroom hours and 50 OJT (Driving) hours.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive tractor trailer combination to transport and deliver product.
• Manage competing priorities.
• Effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group situations.
• Complete Pre-trip and Post-trip inspections.
• Maintain ELD according to DOT regulations.
• Complete driver portion of bills of lading and other documents.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive tractor trailer combination to transport and deliver product in liquid, loose or packaged form
• Manage competing priorities.
• Effectively communicate in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and all other employees of the organization.
• Drives truck safely and courteously to destination.
• Properly complete Pre-trip and Post-trip inspections.
• Maintains ELD according to DOT regulations, as required.
• Completes driver portion of bills of lading and other designated forms and documents.
• Ensures load is properly positioned and secured.
• Other duties may be assigned by the immediate supervisor or other supervisor at any time.
