Job summary

ATALNT is seeking experienced CDL-A OTR Reefer Drivers to join our transportation team and provide consistent miles across major U.S. markets.

You will operate refrigerated equipment on long-haul routes, ensuring temperature-controlled freight integrity while adhering to DOT regulations and company policies. Expect modern equipment and supportive dispatch in a driver-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Two years of recent OTR driving experience required or within the last 3 years.
• Experience operating refrigerated equipment preferred.
• Clean driving record and valid CDL-A license.

Responsibilities

• Operate CDL-A tractor-trailers on assigned OTR refrigerated routes.
• Safely transport temperature-controlled freight while maintaining product integrity.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections per DOT requirements.
• Maintain logs and comply with FMCSA and company regulations.
• Operate safely in various weather and road conditions.
• Communicate with dispatchers and operations teams effectively.
• Manage deliveries, pickups and required documentation.
• Maintain a strong safety record and follow company policies.

Drivers will operate refrigerated equipment across major U.S. markets while hauling temperature-controlled freight. The ideal candidate has recent OTR experience, a strong safety record, and the ability to operate independently while maintaining compliance with DOT regulations.

Compensation & Additional Pay

• Average weekly pay: $1,700 - $2,300+
• Top drivers earning $1,750+ per week
• Pay rate: $0.65 - $0.75 CPM based on endorsements
• All miles paid (loaded and empty)

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent OTR driving experience within the last 3 years.
• Experience operating refrigerated equipment preferred.
• Clean driving record and acceptable MVR.
• Ability to run OTR routes, including nights and early mornings.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations, inspections, and reefer operations.
• Ability to operate independently and maintain delivery schedules.
• Mountain driving experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Tanker endorsement or ability to obtain within 45 days.
• Hazmat endorsement or ability to obtain within 90 days.
• TWIC card preferred.
• Experience hauling pharmaceutical or temperature-sensitive freight.
