Job summary

Universal Environmental Services in Baltimore, MD is seeking CDL A or B local tanker drivers to load, transport, and unload used oil and liquids. Expect daily home time, a Monday–Friday schedule, and shifts starting before 7am within a 250 mile radius.

Qualifications include CDL A/B, 2+ years driving with a clean record, and tanker endorsement (hazmat preferred). Durable safety culture and strong DOT compliance are essential.

Qualifications

• CDL A or B license required.
• Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience with a clean driving record.
• Tanker endorsement or willingness to obtain prior to starting.
• Hazmat endorsement preferred.
• Must meet DOT testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations.
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Hiring radius: live within 40 miles of Baltimore, MD or relocate if needed.

Universal Environmental Services is hiring CDL A or B Local Tanker Drivers in Baltimore, MD. Waste oil recovery drivers will be loading, transporting, and unloading used oil and other liquids. Universal Environmental Services is the leading used oil collector and processing company in the southeastern United States. Covering 24 states and with a growing fleet of more than 300 service and transport trucks, UES collects more than 75 million gallons of used motor oil as well as used industrial oil annually.

Compensation

• Starting annual pay range: $60,000 - $90,000
• Guaranteed daily pay rate
• Average hours weekly: 40-60
• Referral bonus: $1,000

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• Home time: Home daily, home weekends!
• Schedule: Monday - Friday
• Shift: Day shift, Start times normally before 7am
• Route: 250 mile radius of Baltimore, MD
• Level of Touch: Loads, transports, and unloads used oil and other liquid waste streams

Equipment

• Class B tanker trucks
• Automatic & manual transmission
• Must be able to operate a manual transmission

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have CDL A or B license
• Must have a minimum of 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience with a clean driving record
• Must have a tanker endorsement or be willing to obtain prior to starting
• Hazmat endorsement preferred
• Must be able to operate a manual transmission
• Physical activity includes bending, reaching, stretching, climbing in/out of tractors, and on top of tanks, pulling hoses weighing up to 75 lbs and moving drums weighing up to 400 lbs with proper equipment
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 40 miles of Baltimore, MD or be willing to relocate for this position
