CDL A or B Local Straight Truck Driver in Wilmington, NC

This position requires a driver willing and able to lift boxes weighing over 80 pounds and to split time between deliveries (loading and unloading) and warehouse work.

Compensation

• $21-$24 per hour with 40 hours guaranteed
• Overtime eligible (not guaranteed)
• Paid bi-weekly via direct deposit

Schedule & Home Time

• Home every night
• Monday through Friday, generally no weekends
• Shifts start around 7:00 AM, ending by 5:00 PM
• Load and unload (Level of Touch)

Equipment

• Late model trucks with backup cameras
• Manual transmission fleet

Responsibilities

• Represent Lansing professionally and provide excellent customer service
• Split time between deliveries and warehouse duties
• Use Moffett forklift for deliveries
• Interact with customers and crews at job sites
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse
• Perform additional tasks as needed, such as cycle counts, inventory, or inside sales

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old
• CDL-B or A license required
• Minimum one year of driving experience with a clean record
• Moffett forklift experience (training available)
• Forklift certification and piggyback truck experience (training available)
• Ability to lift boxes over 80 pounds
• Strong customer service skills, integrity, positive attitude
• No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
• Meet DOT testing and physical requirements; knowledgeable of DOT regulations
• Pass pre-employment drug screening
• Reside within 50 miles of Wilmington, NC, or willing to relocate
