Position Overview

Argos, a Summit Materials LLC Company, is hiring a CDL A or CDL B Local Ready Mix Concrete Truck Driver in Sarasota, FL. The driver will deliver loads to customers in the Sarasota area, supporting a range of projects from residential homes to major commercial infrastructures. This is a non-union position. Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• Home daily, no overnight travel
• Flexible schedule; 12-14 hour shifts, with overtime and weekends required
• Typical schedule: 5 days/week (Monday-Friday), rotating Saturday, occasional Sunday
• No touch freight, physical demands apply
• Assigned truck; no slip seating

Equipment

• Fleet includes Mack Trucks and Internationals
• Automatic transmissions

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old
• Valid CDL A or B license
• Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience
• Clean MVR; no DUIs in last 3 years; no suspensions in last 30 days
• No recent substance abuse violations
• Able to lift 25-45 pounds regularly, climb ladders/stairs, and complete paperwork
• Registered with FMCSA's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Able to pass DOT drug test, physical, MVR, background check, and agility test
• Reside within 25 miles of Sarasota, FL
