Join Barney Trucking as a CDL A or B Local Concrete Truck Driver in Lanett, AL. We are a leader in Ready Mix Concrete, offering a family-oriented work environment with daily home time.

Position Overview

The driver will deliver loads to customers in the Lanett area, supporting various projects from residential homes to major commercial infrastructures. This is a non-union position requiring residence within 25 miles of Lanett, AL.

Work Schedule & Route

• Home daily, no overnight travel
• Flexible schedule; 12-14 hour shifts, Monday-Friday with rotating Saturdays and occasional Sundays
• No touch freight but physical demands apply
• Assigned truck, no slip seating

Equipment

• Fleet includes Mack and International trucks with automatic transmissions
• Event-triggered cameras onboard

Qualifications

• At least 21 years old
• Valid CDL A or B license
• Clean MVR, no recent DUIs or suspensions
• No recent substance violations
• Able to lift 25-45 pounds, work irregular hours, climb ladders, and complete paperwork
• Registered with FMCSA's Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse
• Able to pass DOT drug test, physical, background check, and agility test
• Reside within 25 miles of Lanett, AL
