Job summary

RouseTrucking is hiring CDL-A truck drivers for practical regional freight with dependable lane planning and weekly home time in Baton Rouge, LA.

You will drive assigned Peterbilt 579 tractors, earn weekly pay of $1,500-$1,600, and receive transition pay, orientation coverage, and bonuses for stops, breakdowns, detention, layover, and clean inspections.

A valid CDL-A and at least 1 year of OTR experience are required; hotel and meals are covered during orientation.

• A valid CDL-A license and verified over-the-road experience (1 year minimum).

Pay & Home Time

• Weekly pay $1,500 to $1,600
• 6 full days home every month with scheduling flexibility
• Additional compensation for stops, breakdowns, detention, layover, and clean inspection bonuses

Equipment

• Late-model Peterbilt 579s equipped with SiriusXM, inverters, TV mounts, refrigerators, and Espar bunk heaters.
• Assigned trucks with no slip seating

Transition Pay

When you start, you'll receive transition pay during your first few weeks while getting familiar with routes, scheduling flow, and dispatch operations.

What We Need From You
