Job summary

Williston, ND—US Foods is seeking a full-time delivery driver. You will safely drive trucks to customers, unload goods, verify deliveries with signatures, and handle payments where applicable.

Shift starts at 2:00 a.m. and runs until work is finished, Monday–Friday, with no weekend work. Eligible for overtime and a $10,000 retention bonus paid over one year; benefits Day One. Strong emphasis on safety and customer service.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL Class A issued by the state of legal residence with necessary endorsements and DOT qualifications.
• Minimum of six months commercial driving experience (any industry) OR three months commercial driving experience in the food and/or beverage delivery industry required.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to operate manual transmission preferred; may be required in specific locations.
• Must be able to read and communicate in the English language - able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records.

Responsibilities

• Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled delivery times.
• Unload products from the trailer with a two-wheeler, pallet jack, or by hand and place in designated storage areas.
• Verify delivery accuracy with customers and obtain signatures.
• Handle collections and payments from customers when applicable.
• Perform customer service duties to enhance the client experience.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip equipment inspections.
