Job summary

The Oak Harbor Company in Rodeo, CA is seeking experienced CDL‑A drivers to operate tractor‑trailer combinations between terminals and meet points.

You'll enjoy competitive mileage pay (starting at 0.82 per mile / $35.20 per hour), excellent benefits, 401(k) match, PTO, and home nightly on most routes, with opportunities to work nights or weekends. Chaining up and Hazmat/Tanker endorsements are required. Safe operation is emphasized.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old or older.
• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Double/Triples endorsements.
• One year of verifiable commercial driving experience with similar equipment.
• Chaining required; training provided.
• Valid DOT Medical Certification.
• Clean driving record – no DUI or positive drug/alcohol screen in past 3 years.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate tractor–trailer between terminals or meet points.
• Navigate challenging road conditions and inclement weather.
• Consistently meet reliability and safety standards.
• Be prepared to chain up as needed.
• Flexibility to work weekends and/or nights as required.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• Paid for every drop, hook, chain, fuel stop, and wait time.

• Employee pays up to 2% of gross income.
• Employee and family pay up to 4% of gross income.

Requirements

• At least 21 years old
• Valid Class A CDL with Hazmat, Tanker, and Double/Triples endorsements
