Job summary

Smithfield Foods, Inc. is hiring a CDL A Driver for Feed Delivery on the night shift in Tarboro, NC. The role requires at least 1 year of CMV Class A driving experience and a valid Class A CDL.

You will train and then deliver feed, loading/unloading with animal welfare as a priority, while complying with DOT regulations. Relocation package is available. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays and lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, preferred.
• Current Class A CDL.
• 1 year CMV Class A driving experience required.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card.

Responsibilities

• Successfully complete a driver training program.
• Follows required and recommended safety procedures while driving, delivering feed or loading/unloading with animal welfare being the foremost concern.
• Complies with all DOT rules and regulations.
• Reports all accidents promptly through proper authorities.
