Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. is seeking a CDL A Driver - Mobile Storage to safely deliver, set up, and pick up storage containers, ground-level offices, and office trailers across customer sites.

You will perform DOT logs, vehicle inspections, and ensure proper securing of units while maintaining a professional, safety-first approach. Opportunities for yard or shop support and collaboration with dispatch are included.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL A license with a clean driving record meeting DOT standards.
• Experience with DOT regulated driving and logs is preferred.
• Proven ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing and set-up work.
• Excellent communication and customer-service oriented demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, set up, and pick up storage containers, ground-level offices, and office trailers using roll-off or tilt-bed equipment.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain driver logs per DOT requirements.
• Block, level, set up, and secure units on site according to safety standards.
• Interact professionally with customers on job sites and verify placement and accessibility.
• Follow DOT regulations, OSHA safety standards, and equipment procedures.
• Assist in yard/shop duties, including cleaning, inspecting, and minor repairs as needed.
• Coordinate with branch operations to schedule deliveries and pickups and report issues.
