Job summary

McCoy’s Building Supply is seeking a delivery driver in Aransas Pass, TX to transfer products between locations and to customers. Starting pay is $23 per hour.

Responsibilities include delivering lumber and materials, collecting COD payments, verifying orders, and ensuring safety and accuracy in loading and delivering goods. The role requires forklift certification, DOT compliance, and the ability to interact professionally with customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Able to read and speak English to converse with the public.
• Able to lift 80–100 pounds and work in varying weather.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lumber, building materials, hardware, and supplies to customers’ homes or job sites.
• Collect COD payments and record customer information.
• Verify order details and obtain customer signature on delivery tickets.
• Follow directions and use GPS/navigation tools for efficient routes.
• Maintain delivery vehicle cleanliness and perform safety checks.
• Assist in yard/warehouse and load materials as needed.
• Provide courteous customer service and resolve complaints with store staff.
