Job summary

Carvana is seeking CDL A Local Drivers to transport vehicles between production facilities and delivery hubs. You will be home daily with a guaranteed weekly pay and bonus opportunities. Paid, top-tier training is provided for loading and securing 9-car haulers, with a focus on safety and on-time deliveries.

Ideal candidates have a CDL A with med card, are at least 21, and can read, write, and speak English. Expect a safety-conscious team, modern fleet, and strong PTO and benefits.

Qualifications

• 21+ years old minimum.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• 6 months of tractor trailer experience in last 3 years or equivalent military experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain courteous and professional behavior & appearance.
• Loading and securing vehicles on our 9 car haulers.
• Following all safety procedures and maintaining driver log.
• Transporting vehicles between Carvana locations.
• Must adhere to the delivery schedule.
• Maintain a clean driving record and Class A CDL.
• Ensure the safe and timely delivery of our customer cars.
• Communicate with transportation team.

First things first. As a Vehicle Transporter, you’ll be home daily. When you’re working, you’ll be moving cars between our production facilities and delivery hubs for the safe and timely delivery of our customer cars. We offer competitive pay with our pay per mile compensation structure, along with plenty of opportunities for additional ways to earn even more. Requirements

To be able to do your job at Carvana, there are some basic requirements we want to share with you. This job position is designated as a safety sensitive position.

• Must be able to walk 75’ and climb a 10’ ladder
• Must be able to bend, kneel, twist, squat, stand and climb as required to secure load
• Requires standing, stretching, walking, stooping, pushing and/or pulling in an outdoor environment
• Requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity
• Requires use of safety equipment that may include non-slip shoes, gloves, and other protective garments and equipment
• Requires frequent driving
