Job summary

Carvana is seeking a CDL A Local Driver in Portland. You’ll be home daily, transporting vehicles between production facilities and delivery hubs using our 9-car haulers in a safe, on-time manner. Loading, securing, and log maintenance are part of the role, with training provided and pay that rewards performance.

The position offers weekly pay from $1,680 to $1,900+ with bonus opportunities, PTO, medical options, a 401(k) with company match, and additional employee perks for work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL license with Med Card.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• 6 months of tractor trailer experience in last 3 years or equivalent Military experience.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Loading and securing vehicles on our 9 car haulers.
• Following all safety procedures and maintaining driver log.
• Transporting vehicles between Carvana locations.
• Must adhere to the delivery schedule.
• Communicate with transportation team.
• Maintain courteous and professional behavior & appearance.
• Maintain a clean driving record and Class A CDL.
• Ensure the safe and timely delivery of our customer cars.

First things first. As a Vehicle Transporter, you’ll be home daily. When you’re working, you’ll be moving cars between our production facilities and delivery hubs for the safe and timely delivery of our customer cars. Requirements:

Valid CDL driver's license with Med Card

To be able to do your job at Carvana, there are some basic requirements we want to share with you. This job position is designated as a safety sensitive position.

• Must be able to walk 75’ and climb a 10’ ladder
• Must be able to bend, kneel, twist, squat, stand and climb as required to secure load
• Requires standing, stretching, walking, stooping, pushing and/or pulling in an outdoor environment
• Requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity
• Requires use of safety equipment that may include non-slip shoes, gloves, and other protective garments and equipment
• Requires frequent driving
