Job summary

Amerhart is seeking a Class A driver for local routes with home daily. The role offers mileage pay of $0.60 per mile, various stop and activity pays, and a guaranteed daily minimum of $200 for driving/warehouse work. A monthly bonus up to $400 is also available.

Responsibilities include delivering building materials to sites, load-securement, and strict safety compliance. Local day shifts with early mornings, outdoor work in all weather, and minimal overnight travel are expected.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A license required.
• Acceptable driving record and strong safety history.
• Experience with flatbed hauling and load securement preferred.
• Experience with Moffett preferred (truck-mounted forklift).
• Knowledge of DOT regulations related to flatbed freight.
• Ability to lift, carry, and handle equipment up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.

• Operate a Class A flatbed tractor-trailer on local routes, home daily.
• Operate a Moffett truck for jobsite deliveries.
• Transport building materials such as lumber, drywall, steel, roofing products, and construction supplies.
• Load, secure, tarp, and unload flatbed materials using straps, chains, binders, and tarps.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report safety/issues promptly.
• Deliver materials safely and on time to customer locations and construction sites.
• Maintain delivery paperwork, logs, and ELD records as required.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, warehouse staff, and customers.
• Represent the company professionally at all times.
