Minimum Requirements:

• 21 years of age
• At least 4 months (preferably 1 year) of recent tractor-trailer experience
• Class A CDL license
• Hazmat and tanker endorsements preferred; willingness to obtain endorsements
• No reckless driving convictions in the past 5 years
• No DUI convictions in the past 5 years
• No suspensions or revocations in the past 5 years
• No serious violations in the past 12 months
• Up to 3 moving violations in the past 3 years
• No preventable DOT recordable accidents in the past 3 years
• No more than 3 preventable NON-DOT recordable accidents in the past 3 years

Essential Functions:

• Load and unload freight (lift requirement: 80 lbs)
• Move freight (force requirement: 54 lbs)
• Open/close trailer doors (force requirement: 46 lbs)
• Enter/Exit the vehicle and trailer from ground level
• Count freight and complete bill of lading and fuel tickets
• Secure extra shipments and obtain sales leads
• Hook/Unhook trailer (force requirement: 90 lbs)
• Complete delivery receipts and perform pre-trip inspections
• Drive and operate forklift as needed
• Maintain regular attendance and fuel trucks
