Job summary

Carvana is seeking a CDL A Local Driver in Blue Mound, TX. You’ll be home daily, moving cars between our production facilities and hubs with a pay-per-mile structure and bonus opportunities.

Average weekly pay ranges from $1,700 to $1,950 plus bonuses. Enjoy 144 hours of PTO in year one, night route differentials, and the option of 100% company-paid medical insurance.

Qualifications

• CDL-A with Medical Card and clean driving record.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Minimum 6 months tractor-trailer experience in last 3 years.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Must be able to perform physical loading and securing of vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Maintain courteous and professional behavior & appearance.
• Load and secure vehicles on our 9-car haulers.
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain driver log.
• Transport vehicles between Carvana locations.
• Adhere to the delivery schedule.
• Maintain a clean driving record and Class A CDL.
• Ensure safe and timely delivery of our customer cars.
• Communicate with the transportation team.

Job Overview

As a Vehicle Transporter, you'll be home daily. When working, you will move cars between our production facilities and delivery hubs for safe and timely delivery of customer cars. We offer competitive pay with a pay per mile compensation structure, plus bonus opportunities including night route differential, quarterly bonus, extra day pay, and more.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL driver’s license with Med Card
• At least 21 years of age
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Six months of tractor‑trailer experience in last 3 years or equivalent military experience
• Must be able to walk 75ft and climb a 10‑ft ladder
• Must be able to bend, kneel, twist, squat, stand and climb as required to secure load
• Requires standing, stretching, walking, stooping, pushing and/or pulling in outdoor environment
• Requires excellent visual acuity and manual dexterity
• Requires use of safety equipment (non‑slip shoes, gloves, protective garments)
• Requires frequent driving
• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
