Job summary

POET is seeking CDL-A truck drivers to haul CO2 from Corning, IA. Expect 5-day weeks, home every night, loading/unloading, and pre-/post-trip inspections, with about 1,800–1,900 miles weekly. DOT compliance and safety are prioritized.

Average pay is $75,000–$85,000 per year, with quarterly bonuses, profit sharing, sign-on bonus, and comprehensive benefits including 401(k). Paid orientation and training, and 24/7 dispatch support are provided.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• CDL A license is required.
• Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience with a clean driving record.
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required.
• DOT regulations knowledge and compliance.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• No DUI in past 10 years.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload product per CO2 requirements.
• Drive to destination and unload per customer requirements.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Follow all local, state, and federal laws and regulations.
• Provide quality customer service and safety.

Compensation

• Average annual pay: $75,000-$85,000
• Combination of loading, unloading, and CPM pay
• Average of 1,800-1,900 miles weekly
• Average 9-10 loads a week
• Quarterly Safety Bonuses

• Driver Referral Bonus: $1,000 (paid out at 3 and 6 months)

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have CDL A license
• Must have a minimum of 1-year verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience with a clean driving record
• No more than 3 jobs over the past 5 years
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required
• Clean MVR and PSP
• No DUI's in the past 10 years
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 30 miles of Corning, IA or be willing to relocate for this position
