Job summary

POET in Bellevue, NE is seeking experienced truck drivers to operate loading and unloading duties, drive to destinations, and perform pre- and post-trip inspections while upholding safety and DOT requirements. Home daily in a structured, 5‑day schedule with potential for extra work.

We offer annual pay of $75,000–$85,000, quarterly bonuses, a sign-on bonus, and comprehensive benefits from day one, plus a 401K with company match and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must have CDL A license with Hazmat endorsements.
• Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience with a clean driving record.
• No more than 3 jobs in the past 5 years.
• Must meet DOT testing and physical requirements and pass a pre-employment drug screen.
• Relocation within 30 miles of Bellevue, NE or willingness to relocate.

Responsibilities

• Home every night with a 5‑day work week and opportunities for extra work.
• Load and unload product and operate according to customer requirements.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and abide by DOT regulations.
• Provide quality customer service and maintain safety standards.

Compensation

• Average annual pay: $75,000-$85,000
• Combination of loading, unloading, and CPM pay
• Average of 1,700-1,800 miles weekly
• Average 9-10 loads a week
• Quarterly Safety Bonuses

• Driver Referral Bonus: $1,000 (paid out at 3 and 6 months)

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have CDL A license
• Must have a minimum of 1-year verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience with a clean driving record
• No more than 3 jobs over the past 5 years
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements required
• Clean MVR and PSP
• No DUI's in the past 10 years
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 30 miles of Bellevue, NE or be willing to relocate for this position
