Universal Logistics Holdings is seeking CDL-A shuttle drivers for local routes in Detroit, MI. This role offers home daily schedules, union benefits, and steady freight with year-round work.

Position includes 2nd shift 2pm–11:30pm, touch freight only, and seniority-based route bidding every 6 months. Candidates must have a CDL-A, be 21+, and pass DOT requirements while maintaining safe driving history.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Clean driving record with strong safety history
• Ability to meet DOT requirements
• Strong communication and time management skills

Responsibilities

• Safely transport materials between terminal and customer locations
• Follow delivery schedules based on customer production needs
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
• Maintain DOT compliance at all times
• Communicate with dispatch and operations teams
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment
