Job summary

PrimeSource Building Products is hiring a Class A CDL Driver to operate company vehicles on local routes within designated service areas in Kentucky. You will ensure safe loading, securement, and delivery to customer locations while adhering to DOT regulations and company policies.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and customer service with competitive pay and benefits. Candidates should have at least 2 years of Class A experience, a current CDL, and be 21 or older.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL license.
• Minimum of 2 years of Class A driving experience.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate.
• Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety practices.
• Ability to secure loads and handle physical job requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in local routes.
• Transport materials using flatbeds, dry vans, doubles, or curtain side trailers.
• Properly secure loads to ensure safe transit and prevent damage.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations.
• Load and unload materials as required.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and internal teams.
• Work overtime and occasional weekends as business needs require.
