Job summary

Reliance, Inc. in Middletown, OH is seeking a Local Route CDL driver to operate a multi-stop local run with an early start between 3:45am and 6:30am.

CLASS A CDL is required. You will deliver or pick up merchandise, load and unload as needed, and perform daily vehicle inspections per FMCSA rules.

You will follow safety procedures, read bills of lading, log activities with an ELD, and maintain accurate records while working with a team.

Qualifications

• CDL required for assigned vehicle type.
• Successful completion of a road test required.
• Meet FMCSA drug and alcohol clearinghouse requirements.
• Meet all driver qualification requirements per Federal regulations.
• Ability to maintain a clean MVR per regulations.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles over 26,001 lbs to deliver/pick up merchandise to regional/local destinations.
• May drive and perform safety activities on vehicles 10,000 lbs or less when required.
• Follow safety procedures for securing cargo and load/unload as needed.
• Safely maneuver trucks into loading/unloading positions.
• Load and unload vehicles as required.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections andDVIR logging per FMCSA.
• Read bills of lading and manifests to determine assignment details.
• Check load-related documentation for accuracy and obtain receipts.
• Adhere to safety processes and company policies.
