Job summary

West Avenue Compassion is seeking a Local Delivery Driver - CDL A (Relief Route) to cover days on an established route, delivering to convenience stores, gas stations, and small retailers. You will drive a Class A vehicle, build displays, set up promotional materials and process orders and settlements daily.

The role emphasizes customer service, route discipline, and accurate cash/charge handling, with frequent interaction with store management and POS systems.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older.
• Valid U.S. CDL with Non-Excepted Interstate Status.
• Pass DOT Physical and DOT Road Test.

Responsibilities

• Sell and execute all promotions.
• Service all scheduled customers by the end of shift.
• Deliver products to store.
• Rotate products in backroom and on shelf.
• Comply with operating procedures (scan-in/scan-out, route).
• Deliver customer service with active listening and rapport.
• Merchandise all accounts to local standards.
• Establish positive relationships with primary contacts.
• Maintain regular, predictable attendance.
