R-2 Contractors is seeking a dependable CDL-A Driver to support construction operations across Arizona or OTR. This full-time role involves transporting heavy equipment to project sites, with home time balanced by project needs.

The driver will operate a range of CDL-class vehicles and help ensure timely, safe deliveries. The job emphasizes safety, compliance with DOT regulations, and teamwork with field crews.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and Medical card.
• Experience hauling and securing heavy construction equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and safety commitment.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks or similar equipment preferred.
• Able to communicate effectively with project teams and work independently.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport heavy construction equipment and materials to and from Arizona job sites.
• Operate CDL-class vehicles, including lowboy trailers, dump trucks, flatbeds, and other heavy-haul equipment.
• Assist field crews at project locations.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure equipment safety and compliance.
• Load, secure, and transport equipment in accordance with DOT regulations.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and transportation requirements.
• Maintain accurate paperwork, inspection reports, and delivery documentation.
