Job summary

Salt City Trucking is seeking a CDL-A Local Live Haul Driver for a home-daily route with a Monday–Friday schedule. Earn about $80,000 per year on a dedicated live haul account, plus a $5,000 bonus, with opportunities for additional stop and training pay.

Drivers transport live chickens from local farms to the processing facility, operate flatbed trailers, and typically handle 3–4 inbound loads per day with 15–20 stops weekly. Orientation is completed online.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL.
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable Class A CDL experience.
• Clean driving record.
• Valid DOT Medical Card.
• No SAP drivers.
• Ability to secure chicken cages using a cheater bar.

Responsibilities

• Pickup and deliver live chickens from local farms to the processing facility.
• Operate flatbed trailers.
• Average 3-4 inbound loads per day.
• Approximately 15-20 stops per week.
• Complete orientation online.
