Job summary

Maxim Crane Works is seeking a CDL A driver to move equipment and materials on a short-haul basis from Maxim locations to customer sites in Canonsburg, PA. The role requires safe operation of CMVs, BOL reconciliation, and strict adherence to DOT regulations.

Applicants should have 2+ years of heavy-load driving experience, a valid Class A CDL, and be able to pass drug tests, background checks, and medical exams. High school diploma or equivalent required; associates preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience driving heavy loads, including loads requiring permits.
• Must pass drug test, background check, and fit for duty test.
• DOT Physical Examination (Medical card) and valid Driver's license with Class A CDL.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial motor vehicles at Maxim locations and customer job sites.
• Reconcile BOL against load and ensure correct components are prepared for transport.
• Ensure materials are properly tied down and secured for transport.
• Assist with loading/unloading of cranes and components.
• Maintain logs and records as required by DOT regulations.
