Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must have CDL A license.
• Must have a minimum of 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
• Must have a clean driving record with no major accidents.
• No alcohol or drug-related convictions.
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations.
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen & background check.
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within 45 miles of Taftville, CT.

Drivers can expect consistent, year-round work hauling freight from distribution centers to stores & depots in 53 ft dry van trailers. Compensation

• Average gross weekly pay: $1,500 to $1,700
  • Paid 55-69 CPM based on experience
  • Paid all miles, loaded and unloaded
  • Average 500 miles per night
• Additional pay:
  • Extra stop pay
  • Premium 6th day pay: $200
• Bonuses:
  • $6,000 Sign-on bonus (paid over first 180 days)
  • $4,000 Employee referral bonus (paid over 180 days)

Home Time, Route, & Schedule

• Home Time: Home daily
• Schedule: Monday - Friday
  • Occasional Saturday work required
• Shift: Night shift starting around 5-6pm
• Route: Within a 250 mile radius of Taftville, CT
• Level of Touch: No touch freight, 95% drop & hook

Equipment

• Late model Freightliner trucks
• Automatic transmission
• Governed speed: 65 mph
• Inward & outward facing cameras
• ELD equipped using Samsara system
• In-house mechanics at distribution centers
