Job Description

CEVA Logisticsis hiring a CDL A Local Dry Van Company Driver in Bedford, PA.This is a 1st shiftpositionMonday – Friday.You will be handlingfreight, whichis delivered in a safe and efficient manner in accordance with State and Federal DOT regulations and all Transportation Security Administration requirements.

Compensation:

• DailyPay: $272/day
• Driver Referral Bonus: $1,000 per driver hired, paid after 90 days of employment

Home Time, Route & Schedule

• Home Daily
• Schedule: Monday-Friday
• Route: Local, around Bedford, PA area
• Load and unload auto parts

Equipment

• 53' Dry Van
• Automatic Transmission
• Speed governed at 70 mph
• Inward and outward facing event triggered cameras
• Slip seating

Qualifications

• Must have valid CDL A License
• Minimum 2years of verifiable CDL Class A Tractor Trailer driving experience
• Comfortable driving in all weather conditions
• OTR or Regional driving experience preferred
• Comfortable with touch freight
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a high school diploma or GED
  • Minimum 5 years industry driving experience may be substituted for a high school diploma or GED
• Must have valid CDL A License
• Clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
  • No more than 3 moving violations/traffic citations in the past 3 years
  • No more than 2 preventable accidents (chargeable or not) in the last 3 years
  • No DUIs/DWIs in the past 5 years
• Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) testing and physical requirements and be knowledgeable of DOT regulations
• Must be able to pass a required pre-employment drug screen
• You must have the ability to read, speak, and understand English as outlined in the Road Executive Order and stated in Federal law
• Hiring Radius: Drivers must live within45 miles of Bedford, PAor be willing to relocate for this position
