Job summary

Kenco Logistics in Portage, MI is seeking a Local Driver CDL A to safely transport general commodities between warehouses. You will operate a diesel tractor/trailer, maintain logs, perform pre/post-trip inspections, and ensure on-time deliveries while following DOT/OSHA rules.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ experience driving tractor trailers within the last 7 years.
• Meets FMCSA and company requirements.
• Pass Background Check, DOT Physical and Drug Screening.

Responsibilities

• Operates the company equipment to ensure product delivery is safe and timely.
• Pre plan trip(s) and communicate delays to the team.
• Maintain daily logs and other required documents.
• Perform full pre-trip and post-trip inspections on all equipment.
• Provide White Glove service at pickups and deliveries.
