Job summary

Paylocity is seeking a qualified CDL A driver to operate local and regional routes within a 275-mile radius of the Pelham, AL distribution center. The role includes pickups, trailer swaps, and returning to the facility.

Qualifications

• CDL A required with valid license.
• Minimum 1 year commercial driving experience.
• Experience in truck driving or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a heavy or tractor-trailer truck in compliance with DOT and company regulations.
• Perform backhaul and local pickups within 275 miles and return to the facility.
• Conduct trailer swaps as needed and drop-and-hook.
• Maintain logs and required documentation accurately.
• Inspect vehicle before and after trips and report issues.
• Communicate delays or incidents promptly to dispatch.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
