Job summary

Safeload Trucking in Bluffton, IN seeks a CDL-A Local Driver to haul pre-loaded dry van trailers on local routes. You’ll be home daily with a 5 on / 2 off schedule and earn an average of about $1,900 per week.

Responsibilities include 3–4 stops per load with live unload, maintaining logs, and delivering to stores across IN, MI, OH, KY. Optional 6th day for extra earnings available.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid CDL-A license.
• Local dry van delivery experience preferred.
• Ability to maintain accurate logs and customer service notes.

Earn up to $1,900/week (~$99K/year) on local dry van routes out of Bluffton, IN. Home daily, 5 days on/2 off, with $0.81/mi (0–450 mi) + $15/stop and a $3,000 sign-on bonus.

Key Highlights

Pay: Up to ~$1,900/week average (~$98,800/year)

Rate: $0.81/mi (0–450 mi) + $0.65/mi (451+ mi)

Stop Pay, Detention Pay available

Layover Pay: $80 per layover (~10% of loads)

Sign-On Bonus: $3,000 total ($1K at 30/60/90 days)

Home Time: Home daily - 5 days on / 2 consecutive days off (6th day optional)

Mileage: ~1,750 miles/week across IN, MI, OH, KY

Equipment: Pre-loaded dry van trailers - Live unload with some tote assist

Freight: General merchandise + health & beauty aids

What You’ll Do
