Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a CDL-A delivery driver to service customers on established routes in the Chattanooga area. You will drive a tractor trailer or straight truck, ensuring timely, accurate deliveries, and maintaining safety on every shift.

Responsibilities include safety inspections, DOT-compliant logging, order paperwork, and professional communication with customers. Benefits start Day 1, with opportunities for growth and a strong team culture.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• 12+ months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL-A.
• Must be 21+ years of age.
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable).
• Clean MVR for past 3 years.
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card.

Responsibilities

• Delivers customer orders by tractor trailer or straight truck on scheduled routes.
• Performs pre/post trip safety inspections and DOT-compliant log entries.
• Ensures accurate paperwork and customer signatures for deliveries.
• Maintains safe driving practices and vehicle security.
• Communicates professionally with customers and coworkers.
• Reports safety issues and follows company policies and procedures.
